positive:
- Understandable, witty written instructions
- Prima, German-speaking software NTRIP, Google TeleAtlas & Picasa capable
- Small, light & fits in your pocket or on a lanyard
- Good battery life
- Solidly built with a good key pressure point
- Backlit display
- Faster and more stable satellite reception
- Ordinary accuracy with metric display
- Manual input of coordinates possible
- (Tested myself) for geocaching super useful
- Configurable data logger (recording every 5 seconds, etc.)
- Photos can be provided with geo-tag, thus saving money for Photo Logger
It's a shame that:
- Display is pretty cute, the display looks like a quartz watch in 1986
- The input keys could be somewhat larger.
- A 24-time display would be great. "8:35 PM" :-(
- A pity that no capacity for normal AAA batteries is there, but he's just small
- We can not produce in Germany such a part?
Conclusion: The miniHomer has nothing in common with Homer Simpson, he's slim, smart and useful - strong buy recommendation
