This memory runs perfectly on my Mac mini (early 2009 model). Before 2 GB were built, which I also sufficient in principle. Now I wanted to run Windows 7 as a virtual machine in Snow Leopard. With 2GB one could forget that the Mini seemed downright asleep. With 8 GB now everything runs smoothly, so you can also work with it productively. My expectations were fully met. No crashes or the like. I would also recommend not to install 4 GB but equal to 8 GB. The price difference is small, and if I have Win 7 running in the Mac window, already 5-6 GB used space are often displayed. The Mac mini 2009, may well manage 8GB. To my knowledge, this has to be installed by August 2009, the 1.2 EFI update. Although the installation of RAM modules was not trivial, but with the help of instructions from the Internet, it should be creating.
In my MiniModules were previously installed by Hynix. Because of the many positive reviews I've just ordered times Samsung. Is obviously not a problem. The appointment was made at DSP. Fast shipping, packaging ok. On the modules was a sticker "Samsung Original". I am happy.
