For Linux users - try under openSUSE / KDE / 13.1. If it is detected properly, the connected hard drive is running perfectly.

I have (ie motherboard still without SATA port - therefore this card) with old hardware built a data server. Now a Seagate 1T is connected - without any problems and fast enough on the home network.
