I have the WD HDD bought the 2TB version, since I was looking for an external solution for system backup with "Time Machine" on the iMac. 99.00 EUR for 2 TB are one word and so I have not thought long. The HDD is with me on the Schreibtsich, right next to the iMac and I must say: I hear absolutely nothing! Even if Time Machine works and creates a backup, the disk can be heard only with the greatest difficulty. By design, it fits perfectly on every table and must not be hidden somewhere. Look and feel are at a high level and do not give rise to criticism.

The plate was quickly ready for use under OS and performs reliable service. The supplied power adapter builds pleasantly slender and both this, and the USB cable has a sufficient length so that it is possible at any time find a connection option.

With technschem talk shop I can not serve, unfortunately, but for my opinion the board is sufficiently fast and everyone is accessed so far reliably and at a fast pace. And as I said, more than quiet, it really does not bother!
