Rydges USB 2.0 card reader for SD SDHC MMC Memory Card (blue)

Inexpensive and works.
Processing is cheap. The stick is made of very thin, cheap plastic appearing.
The lid keeps the plug, but does not sit very firmly. The rear lid is very loose and may in the normal "in your pocket carry" drop. When an SD card is inserted, there remains a gap of about 1mm between the lid and stick that leads necessarily mean that the lid falls off sooner rather than later.

I use the stick in connection with an ADATA SDHC 32GB card. The card reader + is easily recognized on Windows systems (MAC not yet tested). The full capacity is available.
The reading rate is 16MB / sec - This ranges from a high-definition movies with a resolution of 1920x1088 without jerking to watch directly from the stick.
I can write with around 11MB / second.

Conclusion:
As a "lifeboat" and "Always in the camera bag case" is the card reader a good low-cost alternative. Those looking for something robust for permanent use, but should choose something more stable.
