after several months of looking (my old phone did so slowly no longer) I decided a few weeks ago for the abovementioned smartphone and have been a very good opinion about it.
Background:
I had been in succession
- HTC HD2 (Windows 6.5)
- HTC Desire S (Android, rooted)
- Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android, rooted)
- Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android, rooted)
I was basically satisfied with all phones, the least even with the Windows HTC HD2 (the market and the support was just completed on the part of Microsoft!).
My approach is usually the same: I Roote, teach me a different surface, prohibits all accounts (Samsung, Google, wasweisichwas, ...) the Syncronisation, hire a virus scanner and a firewall, set up an anti-theft devices and versehe diverse apps password protection.
Then I remove still various bloatware and look forward then to the phone.
Synchronizing runs perfectly on MyPhoneExplorer (tried it times out, is freeware!), Also with multiple PC's, but do not have some cloud (I do not).
So by and-by, I realized that my internal memory is becoming increasingly important (not I want to have everything on the SD card) and now my 16GB basic versions were too small. And in the really beautiful S2 (optical for me one of the finest mobile phones in black) was next and far too little RAM available, which ended with me in increasing crashes.
In question came at the re-searching then the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One, the LG G2, the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note. 3
The HTC One then dropped out due to lack of memory card and no removable battery. Similarly, the LG G2. The S4 had apparently diverse display problems (apparently breaking the like without outside influence) and the S5 was me simply too expensive and then had even less RAM than the score. 3
Although I note that the first 3 in the hand already felt as lumps (we want to be honest).
After careful consideration whether it might not be too great but I have all of a sudden but decided for the Grade 3, so to speak, a gut decision, and am now happy.
The top speed is. Sometimes you will notice the difference only when one in between for a while has a different phone, then you realize again how the score 3 operates virtually without delay.
The display is ideal. From more than Full HD, I think at display sizes below 8 inches nothing. You can tell (almost?) No difference, but will require much more battery. At 5 "and smaller supposing even that HD (720p) would suffice, even with good eyes.
The Gehäuße itself is beautiful and well made. It also looks dibasic.
Is a pity that the lateral frame although after aluminum but looks apparently consists of plastic. Andeererseits that's probably due to the reception and because nearly everybody pretty used a shell you can not see this anyway.
That would be also the next point: The reception ...
It seems to me this is so much better than the rest of my phones so far. That may be because my old ones are sometimes fell off (Ooops) and the antennas are perhaps not quite so (?!?), Or even to the sheer size of the note 3. There might also fit bigger and better antennas purely ,
Anyway, a big difference in favor of the Grade 3 is present in the signal strength in the phone area, as the W-Lan. It draws much faster than 3GB as the S2. This may well be due to the new standards, no idea.
The operation is not assessable for me since I drausetze another launcher and my phone installs display differently in order to work better with can. I can not think when operating speed positively, that's it then but.
Ans rooten I have currently not dare, but is not as necessary as in other phones as much more memory available and I simply unnecessary power down / remove from the surface / disable.
Knox I once installed (!! Yes !!) - currently I understand the problem with it is still not as pretty, but maybe that will come.
All in all I am very satisfied so far. If Samsung would now be a little more user-friendly (and will not attempt would rooten to prevent, but only the overclocking would be prevented), then it would be perfect.
It would be nice also if Samsung is simply its original software for grade 3 into the net, so that, during an unsuccessful rooten easy again can upload everything on it.
Well, dreaming is allowed.
