Sanctuary.

A sort of sanctuary is this Madonna album for me. Thus, I was founded in 1992 to the final fan of hers. It came at a time when Madonna once again provoked the public with their direct and permissive nature. This also explains why it was quite torn by the criticism and called the flop. Here, "Erotica" sold a million times and the music is really first class. While their albums before me indeed contained grandiose individual title, but as complete works appeared unbalanced, agrees with this album is actually the first time all. The songs go well together, there is no disturbing factor on the CD.

Erotica - Sensual, erotic fireworks. Madonna breathed the verses with a fully erotic crackling voice, while it is only a kind of chant. The chorus is sung quite high, to a faster beat, which is quite good danceable.

Fever - Here's a cool dance hit. It sounds "Fever" a lot more modern than the original. The sound very technical in Disco Style, MADONNNA sings convincingly.

Bye Bye Baby - This is not a love song. With feigned, relatively high voice Madonna sings this farewell to a lost love. Despite the modern disco sounds in the background, the title looks a bit like from the 50s or 60s. Class song, but does not ignite immediately.

Deeper in deeper - A delightfully danceable pop song. Holding something in Disostyle 70s sound. Madonna sings well and powerfully, the melody gets stuck immediately. In the intermediate part then some Spanish guitar sounds and towards the end a couple of lyrics bonds at megahit "Vogue". You can hear even today rightly often on the radio.

Where life begins - Initiated with cool saxophone sounds. Madonna blessed us again with their chanting, the chorus then a beautifully sung, catchy melody. Beautiful co-tempo song of calming.

Bad girl - very beautiful ballad with a conscious sad sounding Madonna. The song gets stuck immediately, the melody just does not want more out of your head. Tip: Be sure the video for the title view again, one of the best Madonna videos with Christopher Walken.

Waiting - breathed something jazzy sounds Madonna again very sexy. The stanzas are then spoken similar to "Erotica" in a deep voice. The sound has something of a nightclub atmosphere. Very sensual song.

Thief of hearts - Good danceable disco song with a subtle bass and electric sound. Also acts the same familiar.

Words - After a quiet, brief introduction of titles instantly takes ride on. Actually, a classic pop song, which is also good for dancing, something in the style of "Deeper and Deeper". Very nice intermediate portion, in which the sound is reduced and Madonna's voice is very nice to hear some more voices.

Rain - The eternal classic from the "Erotica" album. Simply enchanting ballad. Madonna sings really well. Low tones, high tones here it proves that you really can. At the latest at the intermediate part ("Here Comes The Sun") you are then melted completely there with enthusiasm.

Why's it so hard - Another great pop song. In the verses Madonna accomplishes a kind of vocal acrobatics. The background sound is actually almost like "Erotica" just a bit slower. Cool male voice in the background during the transition to the chorus.

In this life - is a somewhat moody, melancholy ballad. Is probably the sad topic (death of a close friend). Very good and sung with great feeling. I particularly like the long finale of the title, where you can hear the pain in Madonna's voice properly.

Did you do it - whether this song had to be on the album now? Well, I do not know. Rapper perform the song. The chorus consists of a sample of "Waiting", which Madonna can be heard only rudimentary. I am not convinced that.

Secret Garden - This is a highlight at the end of the album again. Initiated with a piano and a cool jazz sound in the background Madonna whispers the lyrics to. The chorus is awesome simple and rips a immediately.

After 14 titles and 75 min. 24 sec. The album is now over. What is noticeable is that the songs are quite long, just walking under 5 minutes. However, this has no negative effect, on the contrary, most titles were able to develop only really good by the length.

The artwork and the pictures of the album have a very erotic and provocative, in any way cheap and clumsy.
