Although I now have no means of comparison to another model of this type pants, so I can say that I am satisfied with these pants but definitely. The cuffs below could sit a little too tight, if you have something more powerful calves. Although I had feared that the pants would slip because of the cuffs and the smooth material terribly while running, but this fear has so far proved unfounded. Whether the gloss material being evil to the "cycling shorts" remembers that you wore as a child during the 90's you like, is certainly a matter of taste. I think it's not so bad and it is while walking pleasant and feels once cooled on the skin.
