Satisfied with the Netbook E1210

Purchase of Medion Akoya Mini E1210 MD 96868 10 inch Netbook (Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, XP Home) Black no regrets. My previous 15.4-inch notebook was too great on the go, too heavy. But the handling is relative for people like me who need but now and then a CD-DVD drive. So it had an external drive be reordered: LG GP08LU DVD burner LightScribe SecurDisc External USB2.0 slim black, it makes equal a good deal more expensive.

Plus points of the E1210: Handy, lightweight, grad still suitable for brisk letter keyboard, XP instead of Vista is right, scram and Quick Start are comfortable and energy-saving, hard drive size 160GB quite good but shows it in the two partitions is less than 150 GB, integrated card reader for SD and Memory Stick, three USB, ...

Negatives of the E1210:
- Photo playback pretty lackluster,
- Disproportionately poor speaker, quieter and less clear than with my Nokia E90 Smartphone UMTS mobile mocha without branding, so acquisition of MSI Star Sound Stereo SSpeaker USB makes necessary
- The two USB sockets on the left are so close together that the USB connector must be very narrow,

Visually, the plastic-lightweight is not degree of Renner, in particular the hinges between the computer and screen lid look a bit cheap, but worth 600 euros more for a design part, if any digital technology obsolete in a year? Then rather often times new.
