I am in my 5th Olympus digital voice recorder (I use a lot). This new model WS550 (2GB) successfully replaces my old model that was the problem at a key. Only the supplied rechargeable battery, could not be recharged! But apart from this small problem it is much better designed than the previous model it replaces, great! On this new model comes with a USB and prevents push to slide the battery compartment. Battery normally charges via USB ... Its main advantage is that the (Rec, Play) that were misplaced on the side of the old model, here are well placed and better accessible! Very Good! The screen is more readable (backlight) and the most complete display. They have further improved the quality of the recordings, which was already very correct on the old model. When I bought it it was worth 30 euros more, at Fnac. Thank you to Amazon.com for the very short delivery time (2 days) ;-)
