The Wi100 has a clear and well-structured front view, on the one
a battery level indicator, a battery test button (of the battery indicator is activated), one each WiFi and LED Wan as two Akky icons that indicate whether the battery is charging or full.
In addition, two letters come ("R" for router or repeater mode and "C" for the charging function)
Side can be found on the left a Micro USB port for charging the 7800mAh large battery power bank as a hole for the reset button if the Wi100 should hang times.
(In my test period of 3 weeks by continuously and daily 24-hour operation of Wi100 never hung up.
On the right side you find the Isolation Transformers for "Off - C - R"
R = router or repeater mode and C = Charging or charge the Power Bank
On top of the front page you will find the connections for LAN / WAN (RJ45) and USB socket to which you can connect the device to landene (In my case, a Sony Xperia Z3).
The USB connector provides 1 Amp and somt exactly as much as a standard car charger plug for the cigarette lighter. The charging time for end devices may differ from case to case.
On my Sony Xperia Z3 battery within 10 minutes wwurde loaded by 10 Prozet. Thus, my phone battery after about 100 minutes would have been full.
As I have used the Wi100.
Case 1: I am in my testing moved to a new living environment. The network was already in place, but my internet provider has taken his time
so I had no Internet. I then the LAN port on my router to the WAN port connected from Wi100 where else the modem is connected and put the Wi100 in the mode "R". About the configuration interface I then
the Wi100 connected to my mobile LTE Access Point, which provided only as a possible wireless connection. So I could for all network devices provide Internet available
and had no hurry to a week my Internet provider turned freely later the new port.
Case 2: As a power source for a battery of a small quadrocopter. The USB charger for 3.7V 750mAh battery is it connected to the Power Bank and Wi100
the "C" mode enabled. So could the small battery of Quadrokopter quickly a few times to be loaded without Netzanschlöuss.
Case 3: The mobile phone Unterweg load (As already noted above)
The variant of the 3G mode I was able to briefly test a 3G stick from Huawei. The key has been detected immediately perfect.
However, the configuration of stick to stick is different and a valid SIM card I had unfortunately not available for the test.
Interesting was also the test with a HDD with external power supply .. Because I was able to access with a variety of wired and wireless devices to the HDD, read data, write or open.
So I was able to exchange various data with colleagues without having to specially open their own secure network in the corporate network.
Conclusion: The Wi100 is incredibly extensive in the possibilities in which it can be used. Kan can connect virtually any wired or wireless network device with the Wi100 and use.
By its own power supply you are always mobile and independent power grid.
Positive also the processing and power brings with it the built-in battery.
The only drawback, you always have the correct cable to charge the devices or the Wi100 with you, but there are worse AUH.
For me the Wi100 definitely has the 5 Star potential and he will certainly not be the last device in the home EasyAcc.
