Now my actual criticisms and the reason why I had to send it back:
1.
The chucking of a booklet / softcover in A4 size is impossible basically.
I have a script with around 40 pages. If I do so chucking as in the video, it is compressed by the strong spring. At the back you can with a screw the two brackets in addition tighten, but unfortunately is the metal piece which is connected to the spring too small. So it attracts the top bracket upwards until an A4 booklet fits topsy tried behind this lock with a bolt. The screw is actually only pressed against the metal rail of the upper bracket. Unfortunately, the metal piece is too short to determine it neatly on the height of an A4 booklets. It is already the spring with protracted and thus does not press against the metal rail screw. At one turning the pages is not to be thought only. If the metal rail 2cm longer, it would probably fit.
This design I find a whole but anyway a bit inconvenient. I do not seen over the years that this spring retains its elasticity. So that one is dependent on the hard yards of screw sooner or later. Actually, even with all higher softcover books, otherwise they will be compressed when only a few pages are open on a book half. But for the screw would be good. But the design looks quite simple.
. 2
The width of the book holder is too short for my taste. For a standard book, it may be okay. But if the book is a bit wider, the pages depend too much about it and thus fall slightly forward. Especially very inconvenient if you want to lessen lying down. Because you feel that the book is flying a counter equal, if you touch it. I have not tried it, but I do not think this is always going well.

Is available on the website that it can withstand a book to about 2.8kg with fully extended arm.
I clamped an open book with 1.6kg. While it holds, but you must not touch it then wrong. So all already very shaky. In addition, it only works with a direction (can be bad degree explain simply believe or look at the picture of the foot stand, the metal rod is mounted on the left side of the foot stand). If you turn the bracket slightly in a different direction, tilts to the reading stand. For books with 1.3kg there is the problem basically already. By turning the support arm in a different direction, all it is very shaky here. One should then something move the support arm. At an open book with 2.8kg with fully extended arm is certainly out of the question. Here the website promises a little too much. There are as an accessory but also bed and desk mounts. Thus, it would then certainly.
I have not tested the product, since the main task was, my books clamp order to be able to read while lying down. This is not at all.
However, a small book with softcover was already clamped to the spring and the turning has also worked. Where one must be careful so that the pages do not enter. I can think of at the moment but also no real alternative in order to facilitate this.
My Conclusion:
One would have to adjust the reading stand or bracket for notebooks in A4 size. Scripts of students and stapler of students are mostly in this form. These can not be harnessed (and then only very compressed).
The rod should be secured better in the middle of the base plate and for a heavier foot plate. So you could also turn books about 1.3kg in any direction, without tipping the reading stand. For 1,3kg it must be made possible. The construction with the spring where one clamps the book in it, I also seems a bit too easy. Here there are probably better options. In addition, the holder may be slightly wider.
The price, well, compared to the alternatives that I know this is cheap. But if I look at music stand for 20 Euro, which really only missing a Längstarm and a heavier foot plate and finish would be a reading stand. As such, it is quite expensive. But I would have been willing to pay the price. But then it must also be possible for books / scripts in A4 size. For this he was thinking in my case almost exclusively. And basically liegts mainly only at the approximately 2cm to short metal bar. In principle, only a minimal change, I would keep it but. Even with the remaining restrictions. It would be also good if you can just put next to the left or right the reading stand, without having to rebuild something. I thought there make between two tables, and then turn the book as required to the left or right table. One should however not need to have to turn the book and keep in a book by 1.3kg as well. Should this be improved, the product in my view would be recommended. As it is now, I can not do this unfortunately.
I think 3 stars are benevolent in my view.
