Scarface is Back ... and better than ever, at its best! Who here Down South Rap a la Master P's expects all wrong ... Scarface has a completely different style, looking each listen to his music, but he seems to increase with every album. While "My Homies" In 1998 apparently supposed to be a kind of climax came in 2000 "The Last Of A Dying Breed" and exceeded the previous order lengths, Scarface would it even elected Best Lyricist at the Source Awards 2001 ... and now comes his first album for Def Jam South in which he himself is in charge ... and what comes out ... a masterpiece. 13 tracks, of which, however, 2 Intros so 11 but for real genius tracks !!! It starts with "safe" in the back with his Scarface Lyrics shines. "In Cold Blood", however, is one of those brilliant pieces, to listen with ingenious beats the after calming blend of G-Funk and Jay-Z, as though is often heard on the album and what is not bad at all, great song! Then comes Track 4 ... the single "Guess Who's Back" ... well what can you say about the track yet, a masterpiece, in all respects. Produced by Kanye West for the Jay-Z already many tracks on "The Blueprint "has produced, where it has put his skills, the song gives the typical style with Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel Scarface to a real highlight. And to all the haters of Jay-Z, forget your hatred and listen to the song times objectively, the song is more than good and Jay-Z's rhymes are also class on the part .. and the balance is also Nas also on the album ! Namely on "In Between Us" ... a further ingenious song, Nas and Scarface show what they have it with a chorus R'n'B, really good! "On My Block" provided with old-fashioned melodies is again another hammer Track of album ... like almost everyone. What are you supposed to say. "? What Can I Do" class Rhymes, class beats ... awesome ... Also "Keep Me Down" is not bad, also slower than all other Southern MCs On Kelly Price is with us and sings the chorus while Scarface in his usual good form contributes his lyrics. Another walking towards R'n'B song but still is very good and his money is definitely worth! When Scarface could not get enough of R'n'B comes the next song with a singer, that "Someday" with Faith Evans. Again a slow track with vocals and the typical Scarface Rhymes and Beats are listening to rather than be Scarface in Roc -A-Fella been, but pretty good sounds in Scarface, you have to have to admit. On "Sell Out" is changing the style dan bit and is more suited to his Rap-A-Lot days, so you know Scarface rather, and this is anyway not bad at all, all you need to say on this track. And somehow it seems as Scarface could not get enough of this time R'n'B choruses, Kelly Price Hammer is on "Heaven" there again. Beats, Rhymes class, and vocals by Kelly Price ... we had ever been to the album and it's also the second time very well. If by then mainly East Coast Influenced beats were more heard, and if that's enough to come last but not a West Coast Classic Song added ... "I Ain ' t The One "is, as the title implies, a remake of the classic from the NWA, 80s. And therefore also the track finally a real West Coast Flavor in matters Rhymes gets has brought into the studio for this track Scarface WC from Ice Cube's Westside Connection. What now remains to say a whole album ...? A masterpiece, even if it does not make the idea of the Beats forth as if he were South, but that Scarface has never actually done, sounded more and more to West Coast or East Coast by now, somehow it fits moreover, since most sound Down South rapper from Texas are anyway not to Down South ... Scarface is no exception. Rather slower beats and occasionally R'n'B ingeniously mixed with Scarface Rhymes. But this album is probably please everyone, regardless of whether one has the Southern, Western, Eastern or Midwestern Rap prescribed. And what to say about it are only 11 songs ..? Well the answer is simple. I'd rather spend money on 11 really ingenious songs from when for 18-20 lousy tracks from pop rappers like Nelly or Eminem ... Conclusion: A masterpiece of Rap!
