I have this laser pointer buy for Geocaching (and the neighbor's cat to bschäftigen). In both cases, I was very pleased. The red dot was clearly visible forest (estimated 50 meters). Very good, I also think the fact that here normal AAA batteries are used. The included case is a "plastic box". Personally, I think the laser pointer looks really classy (metal, black, matt) - The case less. The laser pointer is a yellow sticker attached with regard to the laser radiation, which can however problem (completely) can remove.
