+ Charging -. And that includes opening of Firefox, Thunderbird, open.office, Acrobat and iTunes - takes from pressing the power button on the laptop to the functionality of the programs 53sek.
+ Reinstall Win7 via USB takes incl. SP1 Update and install all applications no longer than 3 hours.
+ Real multi-tasking: programs are open at the same damn fast.
+ Wonderful performance improvement: When connecting 3 HDD via USB and copy of each different data blocks of the SSD HDDs there was no noticeable loss of speed in Win7 when opening programs.
+ Quiet: or rather inaudible because no mechanical moving parts.
+ Cool: no heat. Since Aspire 3810ern the 2.5-inch slot is under the palm rest, it now remains nice and cool thanks to SSD.
+ Compared to other SSD: I have not personally done only on various forums / Publications / ... looked up, on which the Samsung cuts quite well. Samsung itself writes that it is not the SSD with a top speed, but it in multi-tasking range the other depends. Believe I tuned;)
+ Magician software from Samsung: practical tool - you can do about the win-settings actually everything myself, but the software provides an interface to conveniently optimize the operating system for the SSD operation.
- Of course, are not the world 128GB and 256er are still very expensive. With some households and tidying you come by that I mean along well.
