Yesterday I got the barbecue season ushered in 2010 with our brand new Thüros table grill. I had much good stuff promised by the new acquisition - is, after all, also not the cheapest grill. The challenge was to move for Muter father and child a pack Nuremberg sausages in edible condition. So pure coal - not so much then allegedly Thüros're thrifty ... after calming five minutes and using the four grill lighter handful had coal then durchgeglüht and we started our dinner. The sausages were nice and brown and I was initially pleased - until discharge fat (Nuremberg - no marinated pork belly !!!) was on the table between the only spot-welded sheets of Thüro through. Beautiful mess - how can that be with saftigerem barbecue food only?!? As you have probably assume a pan! When I wanted ten minutes later still stoking some sausages the grill was already cold or the coal burned - because of efficient next time I pack back inside more coal! Overnight the grill was allowed to cool. The next morning we went into the dishwasher (Neuwertiges brand unit with expensive Markentabs) - because Thüros advertises so, that all parts are spümaschinengeeignet! But it comes as it must, nothing is clean - neither rust nor barbecue, so wash hands again. I will not do the grill back into the dishwasher and warn everyone before because of the sharp-edged grill damaged sooner or later the plastic coating of the harness carriage and the rust ... then this can be expensive.
All in all a very ordinary grill but indeed does not look chic is the high price requirements.
