Searchlights for the living room

Donnerlüttchen because the marketing people had at deleyCON but an ingenious idea - you install five blue high-performance headlights on the front of HDMI switches, leaving the so crude seem to the consumer in the face that the night his film can not see because of glare.

Mercifully, lit only one of them at a time. Although this problem can be solved with a piece ISOBAND there for the first star deduction.

Half a star loses the deleyCON because individual inputs are quite sensitive to certain HDMI cable. I had umstöpseln several times until each of my HDMI devices had found an entrance at which it worked flawlessly and with no dropouts. Is any of my cables (AmazonBasics), is possibly also to the HDMI sockets in deleyCON. Will show in the coming months if the problem gets worse.

The last half star I steal because the output to the TV is located on the side and thus the device takes up far more space in the TV rack as it could be the case. Had the manufacturer financially really so so ruined if we had the housing made 1.5 cm wider and also the sixth HDMI port would have moved to the rear?

Unfortunately the deleyCON with its quirks here at Amazon in excellent company, as well as the HDMI switches other providers, these constructive errors. Maybe they come indeed all of the same great factory, because the lettering deleyCON was stuck with me only on the packaging (not printed), so this should be a purchase of a major OEM supplier.

On the positive side remains to mention that the switch otherwise extent does its job (as the other providers) and you can not expect much more for the price.
