I bought this as a cable connection between Teufel Motiv 2 2.1 system and MBP, because I liked the sound has previously not been so good. However, this was apparently to a large extent on the cheap DIY mini-jack cable that I have used before. Most striking was the change in the bass range. Bass are not only more powerful, but also much more precise and crisp. With the old cable has annoyed me with a permanent, deep Gewummer the subwoofer, now I have short, precise and good sounding bass. The centers have well risen, though not quite as flashy. The heights have also become a lot clearer in general the sound of the treble and midrange from the satellite has become more powerful, but the difference (especially in the heights) is not as strong as the bass, here I am probably reached the limits of Satelitenfähigkeiten, the speaker cable (good Kimber Kable) should this not be responsible. Generally one can say that the acquisition of the sound has clearly paid off, alone, in addition to no longer make already booming bass, treble and middle then really satisfied. The cable itself is of excellent quality. It is not (as would perhaps suggest the picture) Power cord-thick, but 1 1/2 times as thick as an Apple MagSafe cable, or about twice as wide as a standard mini-jack cable. However, the plugs are the real pluses of the cable. The housing of the connector is made of solid metal sleeves (Engraved Oehlbach logo), the sleeves can be unscrewed for cable repair and reveal a completely gilded interior design of the plug, cable to plug the end. On the cable side of the connector are kink-metal springs that feed the cable gently and contribute to the extremely high-quality impression of the cable compatible and make the buyer only satisfied. Absolute buy recommendation.
