see in 720p which is going on at home!

We moved about a year ago in a home and since her I wanted to buy myself an alarm system. Unfortunately, this is currently not financially possible so I have been looking for alternatives and have made the decision at the moment just once with a camera to get started and want to later an alarm system itself assemble (only with notification to me and not to a security company or police ... ). I have since decided on a Raspberry PI solution and will hopefully soon be able to implement this. I'll start times with IP Cameras running until then only times autonomously ...

The camera works well made, it is "359 degrees" rotatable ie. they can not completely or repeatedly turn on its own axis. Enclosed is a power adapter, a software CD and a wall mount incl. Dowels and screws (which I would not even use because my dowels not very trustworthy ausschauen).

At first you have to connect the camera again by RJ45 cable to the router. She gets then immediately its own IP address. On the CD, there is a scanning program to the IP Camera to find the network, alternatively one can also find out about the router.

I reach then a browser to the camera. just the IP-address and port (default port 81) for example, typing in the browser. 196.160.0.40:81 and already you can log in. I then search only once had here the default login information which unsurprisingly: login: "admin" PW: "admin" is (it's usually either that or simply no PW) and already you can adjust everything through the browser interface that the camera concerns, control the camera and view the image.

The image quality is already very good at 720p. The image is when the camera does not move very sharply. The focus is breastfeeding manually on the camera. The DOF is so great that everything is pretty sharp. In addition, there are a microphone which detects the sound very well.

When it is dark, the camera switches instantly to the night vision mode, the image size is then in black / white but the image quality is also as excellent.

You can browser interface also equal to the Wifi and Wifi Enable PW Enter. After that, the camera will reboot and the time you can also RJ45 cable to unplug. When the camera is ready for use may be used in the house, the camera anywhere. The Wifi antenna translucent to be very good and so the camera has the whole house a good reception.

If you have the camera used to monitor one you sent the one hand to set up his e-mail address on the camera, for that I have set up a dedicated Gmail address and on the other hand to set up a receiver which receives the email then. Everything worked out very well.

For monitoring you can then specify sectors in which the change is measured. Ie. you can for example. exclude a cage with animals from the monitoring area or Exclude a window where someone could walk by. The sensitivity of the alarm can be set.

On the CD, there is still further a program that could be installed on the computer, and app data to the apps on Android or Iphone to install. I personally prefer the browser.

For me, the camera meets all requirements that are important to me at a video monitor in my house. With good Internet connection can Stremen the images in 720p from outside (after appropriate router setting).
