Before buying the "Teva Terra Fi Lite M's" I had been trying to determine the right size for me. I wear in street shoes usually 43 or 43 1/2, in sports shoes and it could be 44, depending on how they turn out.
But in any shoe I read so controversial size recommendations as the "Teva Terra Fi Lite". Some reports and reviews writing, the shoe event bigger and others talk about it, that the shoe precipitates smaller. Should I use the sandal now prefer to order in just 43 or actually too big in 44 1/2? A size between there was unfortunately not.
The solution yielded an American Amazon review to this article. The author wrote that one should sandal definitely better a number greater than or at least not to order just to protect the toes forward. And indeed, if you have the shoe size 43, then you will be the "Teva Terra Fi Lite" also fit 44 1/2, because the Velcro straps make it possible, they are individually adjustable. For this is no ordinary shoe, but a sandal, which should not be forgotten!
I put out the size 43 so out of my cart and tried it with 44 1/2. The sandal fit perfectly right away. Front and back about 1-2 cm "crumple zone", depending on slope or incline. My regular shoe size 43 would have been definitely too small and I can not say that the "Teva Terra Fi Lite" appears particularly too large at the base with me in 44 1/2.
However, a problem may be too great belt, especially the front strap with very narrow feet. I had annoyingly cut on one side of the black Velcro overhang, which is no problem as long as you do not cut directly into the sewn Velcro strap itself. I hope that this measure does not adversely affect on long-term use on the durability of the belt, I think not.
* Conclusion: Teva sandal wears super comfortable and has be a really great grip for outdoor activities, as tweaks and does not chafe, exactly how it should with its textured sole. The plastic (based on Microban) the sole müffelt course something chemically, but that I expected. The high price deters, but I forgive less than 5 stars for these great sandals.
