The trigger does not. My phone and camera android does not allow the de-selection of the volume function for the switch to trigger. The pole is detected once connected only as "earphones" so the manual control of the pole does not work for my phone. I wish that in the description of the article is clearly the fact that this option should be available to the buyer to view this pole model. Too bad.
I contacted the seller (very courteous and correct) that declares me I need to find uncheck this option, but I have no access. I contacted the manufacturer of my phone to help me hotline (via chat), but no chance.
