Download it does, however, when a lateral force acts tilts it and charging stops. Suspect that it has been rather developed for Z1 / 2 is because the devices were still slightly thicker and not rounded. Would NOT recommend Z3 owners unless it is accepted that the cable immediately sideways tilts when picked up or lie down. I even used it only overnight.
