Positive:
* High-contrast display with on "großstellbaren" digits,
* Simple connection and commissioning,
* Keys are illuminated in different modes adjustable (continuously, in charging cradle and outside this)
* Anyone who has had a Siemens phone, can also immediately deal with this,
* Digits 2-9 assignable speed dial memory,
* Call volume adjustable hearing aid on,
Disadvantages:
* Siemens Typical for (a) senior citizens (-phone) - Real stupid ringtones that are not also sound technically on the cutting edge. -> Almost a reason for return was because my mother hardly a ringtone (which one also with the hearing aid) may sidetones as such RECOGNIZE won. -> Point deduction
* Keys are in relation to the display of (partially sighted) Seniors not so contrasty (but not advertised as senior phone also here, so just mentioned)
* Instructions silent for connection to external telephones something -> Works but after internet research anyway and even very good!
* Why only AAA - batteries -> AA are present in almost every household! -> How long does well holding the phone when the / senior / in forgets to put it in the charging cradle and when - as in our case - the keys are set to remain lit ??? Clear that is substantially lower the number of Ah-AAA batteries here, as in AA's .-> Update Jan.2014: it came as it had to happen: a night and half the next day it forgotten in the shell to vacancy> Battery due Permanent Beacon ALL. -> Conclusion: For this one would not deduct a point ... Nutzerunfreundlichkeit. So the setting was on: Leuchen changed in charging cradle to find the phone in "Twilight" better / Greifensee> meaningfulness but questioned.
Conclusion:
* For seniors, the suitability should individually - depending on their age-related disabilities - to be examined individually.
Only time will tell to what extent the capability proves useful in our case.
