This small but nice shotgun enhances the sound of any camcorder to the multiples. Due to the good thanks to the decoupling rubber suspension, the operating noise of the camcorder are effectively weakened, fan and zoom noise is only noticeable at the edge.
The directivity is phenomenal, even coughing noises behind the Sennheiser, who had drowned all other sounds in a stereo micro sound, muffled and seem quieter. For life I can not say anything (300 hours is to keep the supplied battery). Before recording, you MUST turn on the microphone (which is not automatically when the camcorder). I had wondered at the first shots, why no sound came. After recording one must also not forget the microphone off again, otherwise the battery is empty after a good week.
