A short tour of the owner is required ...
The bundle or what is in the big box:
- A coffee maker Senseo
- Two small hand
- Two adapters pod
- A removable tray rests cup
- An adjustable spout
What is the bare minimum, not even a small bag to taste pods from the opening (although it must first clean the machine before first use), which is a cheapskate from Philips for once .
The general appearance is much better bill than the previous version (and I'm not talking about design).
The finish and materials are of good quality, properly adjusted, by "squealing" plasticized unpleasant.
A mounted assembly coffeemaker visually bedchamber rather current trend.
Small flat to the surface it takes "ground", indeed the shifted tank is not bad and allows to immediately see the water level, yet it takes up more space in the kitchen, even if it is not Highest.
Among the good developments we note:
The adjustable spout height (finished removing the cup rests below to install a large glass latte macchiato)
The presence of a second deeper thick pod adapter (not more "option" as on the former base model)
The sensitive keys much more convenient to clean than the old ones.
The possibility of more or less spice coffee with said keys.
However, the tank is not a large capacity, allow about 5-6 cups.
Now go to the most important: Coffee
After all this is first of this main subject if the coffee we buy ...
- The pods do not change:
1 / Positive Update on the market there are many brands in the segment of Senseo coffee pods and one can find happiness at all costs.
2 / The downside is the packaging of those pods that are ultimately as ground coffee, plain they are outdoors and lose some of their flavor compared to their competitors Nespresso type and consort.
In practice no particular souçi, plug, cleaned before first use, and it works.
The coffee maker switches off automatically after approx. 15 minutes of inactivity.
AT taste the coffee is not too bad, load each dosing it as it sees fit.
I find it not too loud and a little too close to that of coffee "classic" with ground coffee (but that's my personal opinion).
For macchiato and cappuccino is not really that. However I give you a "trick" that will make "great" with everyone.
To make a machiatto "three layers", you need:
- Milk
- A coffee pod (depending on your taste)
- A mug or cup to machiatto
How to do:
1 - Pour the milk into the cup (about 1/3 to 1/2 of the capacity)
2 - Heat in microwave, then it thickens all depends if the milk out of the fridge or at room temperature. In any case it should come out hot from the oven without burning.
3 - Place the cup under the spout of Senseo
4 - Place the pod and run a "simple"
5 -> Normally coffee should "go" below the milk but not completely and you will have a cup with milk three colors - coffee - milk or coffee - dark and white milk milk.
The taste of the level it has nothing to do with the special Senseo pod machiatto if only through the use of real milk.
Finally a design coffee, economical to use with a wide choice of pods and slight lack of taste compared to the competition (Nespresso and others).
Tip: Taste before you buy between all coffee pod manufacturers and see the best-price ratio.
After all it is primarily a highly subjective choice that will be essential: your taste.
