However, the described by my Vorrezensenten Thomas S. "bugs" on my device available.
I had been also changed the Huawei Ascend Mate (HAM) and have, because I have addressed the larger display and the specified performance.
Generally, the device works very well.
What annoys me is that when my HMX1 the SIM card without I notice compartments occasionally disable it.
After that I have to re-enter to activate this again my SIM PIN code, because otherwise I can not receive calls.
Certainly one could stop that by disabling the PIN code request, but that does not contribute to securing the device in and therefore I refrain.
A software update would probably remedy for the existing shortcomings, as it is imho are exclusively software problems are (error 491 when app update, "stuttering", occasional deactivate the SIM card).
If the software update to come and fix the existing errors there are also of my 5th star.
UPDATE 08/09/2014:
After the new software update to version ... B102 (downloaded here [...].
The apps load faster after a restart - the "stuttering" remain far from.
The memory management seems to have been optimized since the remaining memory by closing all apps has increased.
Similarly, the permanent system memory seems reduced.
The error 491 when app update (Google Play) seems also been fixed.
After the update is running on the Android 4.4.2 HMX1 (KitKat) with EMUI 2.3.
Contrary to some reports on the Internet can be the installed apps move still on the SD card after the update.
Thus, the current internal memory full Larger remains as before the update.
It is recommended that before upgrading to make a backup on the same app as the restore (incl. All previously laid out folders) back to the HMX1 to the state prior to the update.
The other one in the download update instructions is unfortunately not very helpful, since the path described there does not really lead to the goal.
The procedure would be as follows:
Download the update to a PC - unpack zip file and copy them to the memory card of HMX1.
Select Local Update and follow the instructions - On HMX1 under Settings - update - System updates.
After completion of the update remove the memory card and start the HMX1 without a memory card.
Then insert the memory card and delete the file manager for the update file.
After that, restore the app "backup" to perform (backup file click).
By AnTuTu Benchmark test my HMX1 reached after the update a value of 26,365, and has thus improved by approximately 4,500 points.
Remains to be seen whether the "SIM card problem" has hereby also done and how does the battery life ...
UPDATE 30/10/2014:
The battery performance has remained or has subjectively improved even after the update.
Unfortunately, the above-described has "SIM card problem" not done after the update.
It occurs mainly on after an outgoing call and has also occurred with increasing frequency in the last few days ...
Therefore, I have to deduct a star again.
