The +
- Like all Sansa models, the + is the good sound, quality above the rest (provided you buy other headphones)
- Very compact it fits in a pocket and a belt clip, perfect for take anywhere
- Settings super simple (too simple?)
- Fairly large color display (compared to the Clip Zip, the screen is similar, more hair)
- In general, very similar to the Clip Zip but cheaper (the Clip Zip has greatly increased in price recently)
- Integrated SD Card seamlessly leveraging its memory capacity (I use a 32 GB without problems)
- Reading lossless formats (FLAC, etc ...)
- FM radio (but no RDS stations therefore not display)
- Good Time (ten hours) and ultra fast USB charging
- Recognized live USB on Windows, no software needed (drag / paste directly with the jacket jpg file for display on the screen)
The -:
- Very bad replacement earphones (as with all players) -> See SoundMagic E10 on the same site
- Building a little cheap (plastic not terrible but somehow better finished than the Clip Zip, but significantly less than the Clip +)
- Sport? I have not seen any difference with the Clip Zip (except the belt clip larger, and an "Sports" menu that includes a stopwatch and a timer of blah blah ...)
- Simple but too simplistic interface. This software part sloppy just spoils the excellent audio quality
Really lack of audio options (equalizer a bit poor), or display options (underexploited screen)
(At least that is suitable for those who do not want to bother)
- Can the Jailbreak with Rockbox (which would like the Clip Zip multiplied its possibilities)
- Super short USB cable (but handy in a pocket so can be a +)
- Update sometimes a bit long in the Database with SD card (eg 5 min to 16 Giga)
- Ergonomics of no buttons on top
- As indicated by a lot of commentators (Thank the community), payable to "North America" if the sound is muffled and totally unlistenable.
In short, a good buy at tight prices, more affordable than the Clip Zip too expensive now, and it's roughly the same thing.
Do not rely on the word Sport, it's just the commercial pipe.
Anyway, at this price, you can not beat the sound quality
So if you prefer a color screen that allows the display of the jacket, this model should otherwise, the Clip + largely suffice your needs.
