This book sets out to explain how to solve seemingly complex problems of designs easily using design patterns. The work of this learning process with a problem and tries to solve it by offering successively improving and the solution provided to achieve a design pattern. The originality of this book lies in its style: unconventional, colorful, humorous and who prefers to use a conversational style rather than overly formal and pompous. At first, it is true that it is not very serious, but ultimately, we realize that this method is very effective: we accept the design patterns very easily and playback is very nice (as long as the English is not a constraint). Note that even though the book has all the design patterns of the "Gang of Four", it focuses on a 10aine of them, the most common.
