Simple but OS updated and declawed model Bouygues

The supplied CD is not compatible Windows 7 and thus no possible configuration sync or under this OS, even XP or Vista compatibility mode; including the USB driver is not recognized. If you can install the software, lots of options will be inactive and the connection with the GSM will not happen!

You need a Windows Vista system or less.

It is not compatible with Linux or Mac.

The OS has been updated without that this is specified in the product description. See below

So I decided returner this because I find the former much more pleasant OS, prettier and more complete without reference to Bouygues and was content to buy a battery.

OS NEW AND NEW MENUS
I bought a 2nd identical GSM but the software has been updated in the meantime and decsritif on Amazon does not say!

Since its first marketing in 2008, the OS has been updated and the design of the current menu has been completely simplified income. It's not for the better :-(

I had indeed the first version of the OS with menus and icons were bcp nicer than the current design.
In the current version of the OS, all the menus and their options were reviewed and redesigned.
Icons are coarse simplistic drawings with thick white outlines whereas previously were very detailed icons with shadow play, etc.
There was also a special menu Telecommunication arranged on 3 pages that disappeared (Samsung replaced by the Applications icon on the main menu but who gets fewer tools including internet access, bluetooth, the memeo the staches, FM radio, favorites, calculator ...).

In this new OS as its menu a page that then turns before the icons came from outside of the screen. In the new model the menu background is white or black, whereas under the old OS there were 2 issues, a green frame and orange bell over the effect disappeared.

And as mentioned in the introduction, this model is part of the range declawed Bouygues Telecom! It has a logo (not editable) presentation "Bouygues" (the pub!) And Bouygues WAP interest only to the French, and again, while the original version presented only the Samsung logo and any reference to Bouygues !

Moreover the price mentioned on the Bouygues carton is 143. The seller sells 179.9 + 9 fee ... :-(
