Simple, convenient, cheap

SD cards and micro SD are everywhere, and the devices that use them are often connectable to your computer, sometimes it is nice to be able to connect the card directly to your PC, especially if you juggle between multiple cards.

This little player is a little bigger than a USB key and weighs almost nothing. It plugs directly into a PC USB port (or tablet / phone with an adapter) and provides access to your files as an external drive.

USB 3.0 enables fast transfer of files between the card and the computer, whether in reading or writing. I do not include transfer rate figures because they depend on the type of files that you transfer (transferring a 1GB file is faster than 1000 files the transfer of 1 MB).

Finally the price, currently at 7.99 euros is reasonable for an accessory that should last as long as the standard SD / micro SD.
