The actual closure is double secured: firstly a standard closure to compress the fixed snapped on properly, the other a safety strap, which is then placed over the closure and just falling audibly snaps firmly.
Problems with an unintentionally self-opening bracelet I could not tell.
Setting the clock works on the 2-raster crown: the first engagement can by turning the crown downwards (direction 6 clock) to set the date. The hands continue to operate normally.
When complete pull out the crown and lock it in the external position, you can adjust the clock hands (hour and minute), while the movement is interrupted. So it is actually used to it from other watches;)
Why then a star deduction?
For various smaller reasons:
First, the product images are wrong when it comes to packaging. Delivered is a rectangular cardboard box and not in the stylish rounded packaging, associated with the product as an image. Even the also separately shown Velvet bag is not there. I find a shame because something else is suggested.
The description is partially defective, is spoken in the title of Men's Watch, in describing one speaks then of a sudden Watch. This is not a problem for me, because it is primarily to look and ladies watches are only slightly smaller generally (which I personally do not find bad, I'm not a fan of big heavy multifunctional gizmos at the wrist).
Also in the product description of water resistance to 50 meters / 5 bar written. Time freed them, we above the water level have 1 bar pressure and 5 bar are reached at 40 meters water depth - the manual can be seen that the clock is rain- and sweat-resistant, that you avoid submerging in water should. As the original manufacturer's instructions - which indeed the guarantee underlie - I therefore would rather take when it comes to water the clock ...
Freediving There Atm indicates that the clock can abhaben spray and a shower or a bath should not be a problem for 5 without equipment, however, already ... I comment: The statement on the Amazon pages is very interesting to Waterproof the times not, except that probably the majority of the customers rarely deeper than 10 meters (about 2 bar pressure) submerged under water - without having a special diving-clock ..
These are just little things that were not buying decision for me personally, but can be no perfect product in the sum of the really good clock ... So I think 1 star deduction is justified and fair.
It was important to receive a decent clock with date display, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and the easiest possible clock (since I do not like it when the watchband too tightly and watches prefer a more relaxed wear ...) - all this meets the clock perfectly. The thin housing makes the clock also an eye-catcher, as the simple black dial design and weight, I've never worn such a light clock.
A little tip for all who have problems with the crown and back of the hand have (usually those who also carry the clock relatively loose): I wear my clock on the right wrist, because you have not the problem;)
