I am always Gigaset fan and have also now decided again for such a device. The handset is initially an unexpectedly light (perhaps only half as much as our old), but fits comfortably in your hand. Would be that the paint after each touch and call wiped, although is a bit annoying, but I can live with it. The menu is quite well thought out, much is simply a matter of practice and habituation. The creation of the Phonebook is a bit cumbersome (compared to our previous device), but that does not make it so every day. The choice of ring tones is sufficient pity I find, however, that not all handset ringtones are also available for the base. Most melodies still sound very "electronic", I would have liked a few "more old-fashioned", as they are easy to hear better when the phone is in another room and you do not just want to choose the loudest setting. But I have but then found some with whom we can live well - and not constantly confuse service phone and phone. Battery performance I find perfectly adequate - the base is currently in our guest rooms, because there the corresponding connections are available (in the hall is still a TAE connection), so that the handset most of the time (even overnight) in the base infected. I feel that you get here for very little money a really good unit.
