The Icy Box is simply a plastic box fits into the SSD incl. USB-SATA adapter. Both are relatively securely locked without play and wobbles. The box is well suited to either carry a spare SSD or as data to be transmitted from an SSD to a computer. As a permanent storage solution I would not use the box though.
