We have built this parking aid at a Mazda Tribute (identical to Ford Maverick) with tow. It works so far (two weeks) without any problems. The ball head is not a problem and even nettles are recognized as obstacles. When towing a trailer you can simply turn off the loudspeaker when you reset over longer distances. A useful feature.
