With the new version, which has a rigid base plate and not glued but are mechanically connected, it feels much higher quality. - I believe that the recent problems with shelve can be placed.
For me, just as it did with the old version, a successful product - which should last longer now.

The SmartTurle per se is not bad, except for the not so good Nanopad, but brings nothing if it falls despite good treatment after two months apart.
Other reviews show that this unfortunately is not an isolated case, I myself have witnessed at two Smart Turtles this "process of decay".
EDIT: After re-contact the manufacturer has ruled on the issue, currently there is a revision of the product which will soon be delivered, this is set to a manual connection instead of a gluing. As soon as I can test the new version is further reported.
