The Selfsats (actually all flat antennas of this construction principle) do not have good directional selectivity, so that the eastern and western neighboring satellites "effortless" Push down the signal quality, and indeed quite significant as the measurements show.
For technically interested: it is a "phased array" antenna and suffers as such quite violently under very strong "grating lobes" (In addition to directions, will receive also undesirable from which; these have in circular direction sensitivity charts a cone shape, hence the name). Many co-owner contracts or leases prohibit yes satellite antennas (whether bowls or flat antennas). Sometimes (small) are antennas tolleriert still acceptable at, sometimes (more for higher quality housing estates) the facade but also monitored by fussy or envious Condominium Self inhabitants like a hawk;) Any antenna I would therefore always want to mount inside the main balcony or need. The Astra angle of incidence is about 50% gradient (two steps forward, one step up) but steeper than is estimated, so I could mount each antenna in the corner with a balcony floor contact. Incidentally, even with smaller (side) balconies an antenna would probably never have to extend beyond the parapet - the decisive criterion for "unassailable".
Because these optical conditions, and the flat antenna disappointment I now have the Technisat Digidish bought from Amazon 45 (the selection below 60 cm is unfortunately small arg) tried and successfully; I think now (since the new Eutelsat neighborhood) for the lower limit of a real bad weather reserve. A very small 33 cm dish was me (despite excellent reviews) on the basis of the W3C article as a permanent main antenna long but too risky, and I had the place for 12 cm more.
Bowl brand is probably less important, more attention to material quality (rust free, for example, aluminum), and possibly upgrade LNB. Good are lt. Tests such as Inverto or smart LNBs. I now have a smart LNB.
Otherwise, if an only LNB-arms interfere arg, need to look a little arm-less key to the nature of such a Microflat. These are technically also bowls, in which a rear-view mirror raises the aerial behind the plastic cover in the center of the beam vorgebündelten back. As a "secret" dishes they also have their advantages, and not all the disadvantages Selfsats. What has made me personally (a matter of taste) decided against it, was:
