I run on my Acer notebook a Exerne USB 3 hard drive and play from these games like Battlefield 3, Batman, etc.
With this adapter, I have no noticeable differences (ie no deterioration in the data rate you) -> super
Furthermore, the adapter sits quite firmly and does not wobble with me and also has a birthday LAN, where it can move partially chaotic times, survived.
