Even my old "normal" MTB helmet Alpina makes bruises, but are still significantly worse than that of the Giro. He is also from the actual temperatures of 30 ° and no more uncomfortable to wear, you should of course have wind, otherwise it will be sometime too hot. I bought the helmet in matt black, which I really like. Unfortunately, it is very prone to scratches. I do not mind further, because it is a commodity. All in all you get here for just under 40 a fancy helmet that completely fulfills its purpose. I use it for biking in the forest the same way as on the way to work, because it has a cool design, but also on the road does not have to hide. Protective efficacy of course I can not say anything, but the hard shell makes a robust impression luckily.
