Size not entirely clear, some thin material

The specified diameter is 50mm, the outer diameter of the pad. Unfortunately, in all sizes are comparable products is never quite clear whether the specified value to the size of the ear piece, which is supporting the cushion, or even referring to the pad itself. A clear formulation in the product description could remedy this. I could see the parts by strong stretching and sensitive handling in any case still assemble, even on an earphone with 55 mm.

The material seems a bit thin, but tough.
