Kudos to what here Wolle Petry delivered from. As it was said to that a brand new album by Wolfgang Petry appear Skepzis had been but a little big, like the new songs should sound. But already the first single "Brand New" made it clear that it no longer has to do with the original '90s Happy sound so much, except, of course, a strong melody. Wool has become more rock, the guitars roar as if he would bring to the walls shake, but he tries to find a balance between the old fans and the wass the artist's fun. Also lyrically sounds wool significantly more mature, he sings of love of life ("Brand", "I lift up the glass"). the longing for home ("No place in the world") and the age ("era, Old Iron") and failed love relationships ("Düdedip" - a great song accompanied with acoustic Wanderklampfe). Which song but this album are the special touch is the final song "Mio Padre". Which musician still dares a 10 minute bombastic rock sound a la Deep Purple, Uriah Heep or the Scorpions which in the 1970s still common practice was. Clear the first time I have the comeback of Wolfgang Petry also imagined something different because not every song really wanted to ignite so right and a rock song like "Play me, when I'm dead" does not fit him. But after two days I have done that album again in peace to heart and see there. It's just fun and joy to listen to the 15 new songs, rock out times or simply listen quietly. Who makes the already initially mentioned '90s Happy Sound as "falling in love, lost ..." or "God knows" expects will have to get used, but who just has fun with rock music and act the artist Wolfgang Petry without prejudice to itself who is here who's pure joy. Thank wool for this comeback album !!!
