The charger is equipped with a so-called iSmart function that automatically adjusts the charge current to the connected device, thus enabling the greatest possible rapid charge, without overloading the unit.
Per port maximum of 2.4 amps charging current are available as long as the connected device also can handle this. If the unit requires less power, the current is automatically reduced. In practice, this has also worked perfectly. My Tablet current generation was just as fast as with the original power supply which also provides 2.4A current, loaded. One older Smartphone (original AC adapter with 1A load current) settled on RAVPower charger also invite the normal pace here has the iSmart - function so obviously down regulated charge current to match.
The processing of RAVPower charger is impeccable. The electronics, if I can judge amateurish. The charger charges the connected devices quickly, does not heat up during operation significantly and makes no noise.
