We have looked at the Thule WingBar both the Thule 775 and the 757. Both products are top. We chose the 775 because we better liked the flat, slim design and the 757 of the inner part of the foot barely contact with the roof rack of our Passat (3C) had. This looked a little funny, but also sat bombproof. I could imagine, however, that it makes a lot more wind noise to me. At 775, the steel strip fulfilled its purpose and definitely is super on to the railing. The assembly is very easy and takes maybe 2 seconds longer than the 757, as it has yet to mount the tape. The material quality seems very robust and the sheathing of the steel strip makes a top impression, so I do not expect that this rapid wear than the rubber at the feet of 757. This resulted in us before we purchased the product had occupied since ~ 80 not just a little is and you can get for complete systems.
