I also ordered my small Hama Tripod hoping to finally be able to make flawless, blur-night shots with my Finepix F20 - despite the far more negative reviews. After only a short use I have to agree with previous speakers, however. Although the tripod is handy in size; but the three legs can be far from abspreizen far enough to actually ensure a secure footing. I also dispose a camera whose tripod socket is mounted not in the center, but the side down, what a tilting of the tripod just begging (another spreading of the legs could have prevented this extreme obesity). The locking screw is a good idea - but it works also very wobbly and processed generally unsound. In addition, the camera sometimes still slips even with strongly tightened screw or ball head bends. I would recommend this product only for indoor use due to the low price limited - for there I hold him but because of the risk to tip for even the lowest wind and damaging the camera, for unusable.
