The Xoro HRT 7515 almost exactly meets my expectations. Operation is simple, it has only the most necessary functions. But of course an EPG, teletext and can probably even record on USB (flash drive, hard drive), but what I have not been tested so far. What has, however, work was the play MKV files from a USB stick, what else all my DVD player have failed with a USB interface.
At the reception can not be faulted, with us here in the southwest of Berlin, he has a simple small rod antenna found about 40 programs (I think these are all available in Berlin).
The picture quality is via the HDMI output really top, which of course also depends on the compression rate of the respective transmitter.
Switching between channels is to my mind quickly (had previously a Thomson receiver really was much slower).
The only drawback in my device is not available in the Steckernatzteil, which unfortunately is a high-pitched tone of itself. I'll exchange it for an existing, of course, a reason for a replacement would otherwise have been.
Conclusion:
+ Very good image quality
+ Good reception of all transmitters
+ EPG / teletext
+ Play via USB, support .MKV files
+ (Recording to USB memory media, not tried)
+ Fast switching between channels when zapping
+ Easy to use without too much fuss
o AC adapter whistles (Would a reason for return)
- Have not found anything yet
Addendum 23.11.2014: Thought the device would be broken (only black screen), but as it turned out, the aspect ratio was accidentally moved to 1080i (50 Hz) -> The TV could not display the image. It helped to connect the receiver via SCART and to change the setting.
