The responsibilities are therefore defined. Since we each have a short-pile carpet in our rooms, it is true that the large vacuum cleaner is not so often is used instead of the battery or battery operated vacuum cleaner broom from Kärcher. Why? .. To take fluff (eg by washing, dirt in the hallway (especially of the shoes) and crumbs in the kitchen, it's so much faster No cable, quickly sweep up -. Done!
The Kärcher battery brooms K 55 we knew so far always appreciate. There are several reasons. The cleaning performance is quite ok, that hair and dirt are quickly and adequately absorbed thoroughly, cleaning is quick and cordless electric broom not take up much space. The fact that the "Vileda" In addition, use a duster, is new and quite convenient for us. A decisive advantage, however, is that the battery pack from the battery Vileda brooms one hand, a Li-Ion battery is (with charging indicator) and after only 6 hours is full again. When older model of Kärcher the charging time is against it 14 hours (!) - Without separate quick charger a small eternity. After about 30 min. But then also conclusion while can be cleaned with Vileda up to 45 min. Despite Battery capacity is continually shrunk the Kärcher after several years (max felt 15 -. 20 min.). To be fair, you have here but note that the product is already years in the market and no lithium-ion battery is still in use (ie old technology).
A direct comparison of Kärcher battery brooms K 55 is but visually attractive two-tone effect and (despite plastic) but not as heavy plastic. On the one hand he is also wider and larger, is the sweeping quieter and partly. Effective (s. Comparative Test below), and it is also more stable. Whether the transfer of the stem at Vileda holds Battery Broom permanently with the balls, remains to be seen, I have some doubts.
Despite limitations, we find the small brooms Vileda turn handy because it is completely sufficient for use in between and can be hung up to save space also means hook on the handle. Winners in direct comparison, although the device of Kärcher, however, this also some costs more
The Vildea Battery Broom scores in several disciplines:
+ Good and illustrated manual
+ Easy and simple operation of the battery broom
+ 45 minutes to sweep possible - that is practical and avoids forced breaks (during charging)
+ Flexible joint
+ Easy emptying the hopper and sufficiently easy cleaning of the broom (z. B. the removable brush roller)
+ Staubwischer avoids damp mopping
+ 6 hrs. Charging time are not objectionable
+ Easy and space-saving storage (gg. Hanging on the handle)
Neutral:
+/- Quick and yet sufficiently thorough cleaning performance on tiles and recently carpeted possible (see also test -. The carpet is the device of Kärcher hands-)
+/- No battery broom is a complete replacement for a real vacuum cleaner; that should clear before buying (value neutral rating)
+/- Cleaning in the corners does not work well (can the Kärcher no better)
+/- Repeatedly sweeping is necessary to accommodate fully the dirt
+/- 80 dB (A) not very quiet (in the larger body of the Kärcher sounds quiet, approximately 5 dB)
+ / Stem length is 112 cm for taller people (> 1.90 m) rather bit tight (the stem from Kärcher is longer and has a stable round handle)
+/- Whether the movable unit of the lower handle tube will last for years, for the time being to be seen (some doubt exists) remains
+/- As the broom really is relatively easy, sometimes high (then with his foot again push down) tilts this when adjusting the stem
Weaknesses:
- More fragile optics / haptics compared to Kärcher battery broom K 5, affects up to handle very heavy plastic
- Quite scarce sized charging cable
- Additional costs due to regular use of dust wipes
"Special" test:
For those interested, I have in the kitchen a special comparison test Vileda vs. (But without Vileda dust catching cloth) Kärcher made. On some tiles, I have a) each dry coffee powder scattered and b) then small (round), scattered dry Getreidepops. The latter I have also partially crushed with the thumb so that it crumbles nicely ..
Test a) The Karcher takes the coffee to approximately 2/3 on a second sweeping but is required to accommodate the visible coffee powder. The Vileda almost pushes the whole thing once in a joint between the tiles. After that I took a few sweeping operations until everything was taken. The point is clearly to Kärcher.
But here you have to be fair: Since Vileda offers dust collection towels here, you should use in this case, these.
Test b) Getreidepops can both absorb well. After 1. Return I see nothing more. A sample passage has something to crunch, so turned again, then it's all gone apparently. The both have good job - Draws.
After the test I have each wiped with a damp cloth to ground; the coffee remained at two some, hang a few Kaffepulverereste that I had not seen with the naked eye - that's OK for me, because the broom in a dry mode just does not replace a real vacuum cleaner or mop.
I know now at least one battery broom like it better, but in spite of its relatively technical age also some costs more. Overall, the battery Vildea broom is still in between suitable for the fast sweep - Who has a lot to do with hair (Animal), probably comes hardly a real vacuum cleaner around to no more frequently clean the brush roller / having to remove the hair. Overall impression solid (note the price fluctuations!) 3 points.
