I purchased the diffuser for use on a Metz 48 AF-1. The diffuser pushes slightly strictly on the flash head and fits closely and reliably in place. The removal of the diffuser is also no problem, except perhaps with damp or cold fingers. The illumination is uniform and has sufficient volume, the loss of light must be corrected by 0-1 f-stops, depending on the distance from the object. Only the slight mold lines on the inside of the front could lead to irregularities, but one would have probably been photographing a white wall or the like. What shape and color stable in the long term the diffuser is to be seen. I keep it as a precaution on the flash to a delay to avoid. For my taste, the plastic may still feel a little high, but that does not detract from the function.
