Slot / Size:
The ExpressCard fits perfect in the appropriate slot and flush with the casing off, so my laptop is compact and unobtrusive as before.
The card is fully seated in the slot and does not wobble, during removal of plugs it does not come out well. To me, that is ideal as the USB3.0 card should remain in the machine, if you want this constantly take out the eject button is without doubt difficult.
Compatibility:
Most hardware devices in Vista / Win7 are indeed automatically installed on the update server and download new drivers. When Orico unfortunately that does not work so simply. Here you have to go the old way and install the drivers on the supplied CD. But worked perfectly.
Speed / power:
I can all calm down first, which are deterred from Stromwerweiterung with the USB cable. My USB3.0 2.5 "hard disk is also running at full doors without the additional amps, the current expansion is therefore only necessary when more than one power-intensive device. USB sticks I could be, for example, two simultaneously running.
The writing and reading speed was also very confident. On my hard drive, I was able to achieve a write rate of about 80 MB / s for large files.
Conclusion:
I am completely satisfied with the ORICO USB3.0 ExpressCard. Fits right, does not shake, easy to install, good transfer performance
