This was not so, our four year old plays the game currently prefer every day.
The game has simple rules and is also quick to set up, although it is not easily get bored as there are moments of surprise over and over again when the Joker card comes into play.
Children should however bring two requirements to have this joy: you should see the numbers 1 - 6 can read, because the cards are labeled with these numbers and you have to collect from each card one, and they should have already learned once to lose. Because if the Joker card is used, a player may "steal" another one card - the one must be able to tolerate already.
But who can ever tolerate that will have a lot of fun with the game, because after all, everyone's time off with "claws cards".
