My requirements:
I was looking for an Always-In-Camera as a small alternative to our Canon EOS SLR. You should easily fit into a pocket and also provide useful photos and videos. It was particularly important for me to find a camera that makes useful photos even in low light conditions and at night!
Shortlisted the Panasonic Lumix TZ-10, the Canon S95 came and the Nikon P-300
I first tested the Panasonic Lumix TZ-10th This camera All thing came to no joy. The moderate performance in low light conditions have prompted me to take another camera. At the Canon S95 me the relatively high price and some very negative opinions have deterred in relation to the automatic mode! It remained the Nikon P-300 on my list left ...
My experiences in brief, because most of it was already mentioned by previous reviewers and described in great detail in part:
1. It is really true! This camera is truly amazing in low light conditions without a flash and the most and hands-free! Incredibly as it is pure joy! Everything looks in the pictures as you see it yourself! The noise is in my opinion also perfectly fine and kept within limits.
2. Nice large display; good feel - all the buttons and wheel are sensible arranged and easily. Manual settings are very fast with the help of two wheels by hand. My initial fear to have problem with the position of the flash, have not come true, because the first Bitz rarely needs and secondly manually extends with a side button and is thus not be surprised if this extends suddenly!
3. Excellent video function in Full-HD with zoom!
4. Generally good picture quality and natural colors! Have the feeling to have very little reworking. Autofocus and image stabilizer work accurately!
This camera can record up to the light intensity in terms of resolution with my SLR but of course not quite keep up is to meet the requirements listed above, the best alternative I could find!
I was this little black part completely convinced!
