First, it may not be very important but I want to emphasize its design, because it is really compact for an external hard drive (easily transportable) and pretty with its metallic color.
Concerning the connections, you only need a USB cable, not a diet as some hard drive, suddenly it simplifies the use, plug and it's ready! As one user said the supplied USB cable is a short little effect if you do not have much on which to ask him.
Featuring a USB 3.0 I tested the transfer speed and actually it goes very fast! A file of several GB are transferred very quickly compared to standard USB 2.0 port.
With a capacity of 2 TB, you have plenty to do to fill up, you can easily back up data from two computers on the same disk without much problem I think.
You can put absolutely all files that you spend on hand without looking instead because it takes the ability to be a problem.
From my point of view, this is a very good drive.
